- The Super Unemployment Fund, familiarly known as Supertk, is the unemployment fund for practical nurses, auxiliary nurses and care assistants working in the social and health care sector and early childhood education, as well as employees in church sectors.
- Students in these fields are also welcome to join the fund!
- You can join the fund either through your trade union or as an individual member. The membership fee is the same, 84 € per year. If you join the fund at the same time as you join the union, membership fee matters will be handled through the union. A large share of our members belong to The Finnish Union of Practical Nurses SuPer or Kirkon alat ry.
- Care assistants and care assistant students can join the fund as individual members.

- The Super Unemployment Fund was founded in 1969 under the name Assistant Nurses’ Unemployment Fund (Apuhoitajien työttömyyskassa).
- We have operated under our current name since 2010, when the former Unemployment Fund for Parish Officials merged with the Super Unemployment Fund.
