Super Unemployment Fund
Super Unemployment Fund has more than 60,000 members. Our professional staff handles the payment of unemployment allowances to our members. We pay our members earnings-related allowance, job alternation allowance and mobility allowance. We also advise our members on matters related to unemployment security. Our members are mostly practical nurses or church employees.
Super Unemployment Fund was founded more than 50 years ago and was previously known in Finnish as Lähi- ja perushoitajien työttömyyskassa. The fund adopted the current name in 2010 when the former church employees’ fund Seurakuntien Viran- ja Toimenhaltijoiden työttömyyskassa merged with Super Unemployment Fund.
