The Unemployment Fund of Practical Nurses

The Unemployment Fund of Practical Nurses has served its members from 1969. The majority of the members are practical nurses with the Finnish "perushoitaja" or "lähihoitaja" diplomas.

The fund pays out earnings-related allowance, labour market support during training and job alternation compensation to the members according to the law.

Professionals with a secondary-level education and diploma in social welfare and healthcare can be members of the Unemployment Fund of Practical Nurses. To be accepted as a member a person also has to be employed and live in Finland. The fund also accepts student members, who have an employment relationship.

The Finnish Union of Practical Nurses insures its members in the Unemployment Fund of Practical Nurses.
